The Woodland Stampede is a Half Marathon trail race (13.1 miles) set in the beautiful Bourne Woods in South Lincolnshire.
The race will take place on Sunday the 10th of June 2012. Bourne Woods is a quiet, ancient woodland with mixed conifers and semi-natural broadleaf trees.
The stunning location is home to a huge variety of wildlife including deer, muntjac, woodpeckers and herons, and has many trail routes through the trees.
The route for the race is focused on the main woodland trail and open farmland.
Woodland Stampede competitors must be at least 18 years of age on the day of the race. The route twists and turns through the woodland on hard limestone trails and field trails. Drink stations will line the route approx every 2-3 miles with water being distributed in plastic cups. The race is open to both club runners and novice runners which gives the event a great friendly atmosphere. The race has limited availbaility (300 runners) so please be aware of this to avoid disappointment.

- How do I get to the Bourne Woods Car Park?
Bourne Wood Car Park is signposted off the A151 half a mile west of Bourne. There will be signs for the car park when approach the woods.

Yes approx every 2-3 miles and water will be provided in plastic cups

Via post 1-2 weeks prior to the race date

- Is there a limit on the number of entrants? 300

- Are toilets available?
Yes porta loo toilets will be situated in the main car park
- Will finishers get a goody bag?
Yes, you will receive a goody bag, a memento of your completion of the race as well as either a Fat Feet t-shirt or vest
